The Long Way
Reflecting on the story of Joseph has brought tears to my eyes. (Genesis 37-50) I think about the life journey he took getting to his destiny and purpose. God gave him a vision of what was to come at an early age. Joseph made the mistake of sharing the vision with haters. But what he did not realize was that his mistake which caused his brothers to put him in the pit was part of the master plan to get him to the palace. Joseph's journey from the pit to Potiphar's place, to prison was preparing him for the palace. Without all of those experiences, Joseph would have lacked the wisdom and maturity to carry out his purpose. Whatever you are going through right now is preparing you to take your place at your palace (place of your purpose). I cried because I was grateful for all of the things God has brought me through in preparation for the palace (poyp). Don't complain, prepare for the palace.
Recompense and Reward
There is a law in the Kingdom of God that is similar to the Law of Sowing and Reaping. This morning, while reading a devotional, I saw a perfect example of this Law of Recompense and Reward. In the book of Genesis, chapter 42, verses 21-22, it speaks of how Joseph's brothers realized that the actions they carried out against Joseph had come back upon them. Every action that we carry out has a corresponding recompense or reward. If we do something bad, we can expect a recompense. If we do something good, we can expect a reward. This is a law which corresponds with the Law of Sowing and Reaping. Every action brings about a reaction whether for good or bad. We must take these laws and apply them to our daily lives. Since the Kingdom of God is ran by God's law which is His Word, if we consider ourselves to be Kingdom citizens, we must have an understanding of these laws.

The Importance of Partnership cont...

...they valued the "partnership mentality" between a husband and wife. Even the word partner means one who shares. Sharing a life together in every area is powerful and a great example of what our partnership should be like with the Lord our King. When you are in relationship (partnership) with the Lord, Jesus Christ, you are empowered supernaturally to operate in this earth realm. God is glorified through this partnership and we are able to accomplish the purpose for which He placed us here on the earth.

The Importance Of Partnership

One of the most powerful partnerships that exist on this earth is the partnership between a husband and wife. It is wonderful to see a segment of society begin to utilize the power of this partnership.
When husbands and wives work together for a common goal, there is a much greater result than if either of them worked on a goal alone. Look at Deut.32:30 and Eccl.4:9-12. These scriptures show us how partnership multiplies the power to accomplish the purposes of those in the partnership. There is no other partnership on the earth as intimate as the partnership between a husband and wife. Marriage between a husband and wife has the blessing of God. Husbands and wives have the potential to be partners in every area of life. They can work together in their vocation, in their family life and in their relationship with each other. Society as a whole would benefit greatly if...

I have come to the revelation that people who are of great benefit to the Kingdom of God are constantly under attack. The enemy knows how effective they are and tries to limit their ability to take territory for the Kingdom. So be encouraged if you are putting God's Kingdom and His righteousness first. Don't faint, keep doing what you are doing and be aware that you are on the enemy's radar!

God never ceases to amaze me with His ability to show Himself strong in the midst of adverse situations and crazy circumstances. He is awesome in the way He directs our paths in uncomfortable places we wish we could avoid. The wisdom gained through our experiences is invaluable. We are being prepared for our purpose with such a great focus that there is nothing that will deter us from accomplishing what God has assigned us to do. Our flesh will always look for what feels good, is familiar and comfortable. But God is preparing us for the times we live in. We must be able to operate as sons of God in His Kingdom. Romans 8:19

Cont. ...Joshua excellent instructions on how to go through this birthing process. Joshua 1:6-9 We have to stay focused on the assignment. We have to keep God's Word in our mouth. We are to live by God's Word. And we have to remember that God is with us through our assignment.
It is amazing to look at a comparison of what it is like birthing a child in the physical to birthing something in the spirit. In the process of birth, labor is a time when you are selective in what you allow around you. Labor is a time when you are most vulnerable. Labor is also a time when you are in great transition. You go from being self focused to focusing on the assignment set before you. In either case, physical or spiritual, it is no longer about you. You have been blessed to be a part of the big picture in God's Kingdom plan. We know in the natural scheme of things that only women give birth to children, but in the spirit, everyone in the Kingdom of God gives birth to an assignment. Focus is very important when you are giving birth to your Kingdom assignment. As mentioned earlier, this is a time when you are most vulnerable. In the first chapter of Joshua, God gives ....

Cont...in. Be diligent in your confession of God's Word and be just as diligent in keeping the enemy out of your mouth.
Confession of God's Word is part of the process of manifesting what we want in our lives. Sometimes, we can frustrate the process of manifestation by complaining about our situation and speaking the direct opposite of what God's Word says about us, based on our current situation or how we feel. Matthew 21:22
Manifestation occurs when we say what we believe regardless of whether or not what we say is good or bad. We must be in complete agreement with what God says, even when we are tempted to speak negative words. If we have to, we should even cover our mouth to keep silent until we can agree with what God has said. You really do have to get that radical. Don't forfeit your blessing and destiny because of a lack of discipline over your mouth. The enemy is looking for any opening he can find. Don't open the door and invite him...

Vehicles are what we use to get from one place to another. Just like vehicles, our lives are used in the Kingdom of God to bring us and others from one place in life to another. As a wife, I have been used as a supporter and encourager to help my husband fulfill his assignment. As a mother, I was the vehicle to bring my children into the earth realm so they could fulfill their assignment. As a teacher, I was used to direct the paths of students and helped equip them for their assignments. Everyone throughout time has been a vehicle for either good or evil. Your life affects someone in some way. What type of vehicle are you?

Cont....conflicting information and facts. What does God's Word say about you and your situation? We have to retrain our spiritual eyes to stay open, even in the midst of a troubling situation. When we confront a problem, we must open our spiritual eyes and understand what is behind the problem. What is the driving force behind the problem and why has it shown up now? I encourage you to consider the intangible before the tangible.
The Kingdom teaching that Jesus taught in the Gospels is life changing and radical. If you have been taught in religion, it can be difficult to receive this Kingdom message. One thing we have to consider is how we esteem God's Word. Do I believe God's Word above m circumstance, above the voices around me, above the natural facts or do I succumb to walking by sight and faith? There is a deceptive spirit at work in the world that is trying to keep us so focused on the natural that we are blind to what God is doing in the spirit realm.
2Cor.4:18AMP "Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting." The Apostle Paul admonishes us to remember what is important. When we operate by our spiritual sight, we are able to withstand...

Expectation

Yesterday, I got up and went to the television to turn on some Word. I really needed a word of encouragement and direction. The preacher I turned to did not know me or my situation, but he spoke directly to it. I was so encouraged and happy he was speaking about my specific situation, that I ran into the bedroom to share what I was hearing with my husband. My question for you is do you go to church or Bible study with an expectation that the man or woman of God will have your specific directions for what is going on in your life? Are you expecting God to give you what you need for the week in the form of a Word? We receive what we need through our ears first. Once we receive God's Word, it is important that we quickly obey what we heard. In the times that we live in, it is necessary to obey God's Word quickly. Our very lives may depend on our obedience to do what He has said. The practice of listening to the Word of God helps us to become familiar with the voice of God. When God speaks to us through His Spirit, we are able to recognize His voice because we are intimate with His Word. That recognition helps us to be able to obey quickly. Problems with obedience come when you are not sure that the voice speaking to you is from God. God is able to meet you at your level of expectation. He desires a more intimate relationship with you. What are you expecting?
